For the last five weeks Jess has been working for MAMbrella in Athens.

This is what Jess tells us about her experiences there:

As a midwife in the UK I’ve been following the work MAMbrella does for many years. Coming to Athens to volunteer - holding workshops in the camps, as well as ANC and PNC outreach work - has been an amazing and rewarding experience.
Along with the outreach coordinators and wonderful translators we have been visiting women and babies in a variety of settings - each with differing needs and experiences.
I am forever in awe of the resilience and strength of women and mothers and no more so than here in Athens. Working with MAMbrella is a wonderful experience and I’m deeply grateful to all those involved and those who support MAMbrella to continue this valuable work.
